Run4Paula 5k
On November 3rd 2018, we will host our Third Annual Run4Paula 5K fundraising event at the Saratoga Springs Marina Park to support Paula de Santiago. Paula was involved in a serious car accident in Saratoga Springs, Utah, on November 24th, 2015. After battling for her life in a coma for almost 2 months, she woke up to find herself completely paralyzed, unable to speak or care for herself. Since then, she has fought along her family, slowly making progress, to now been able to move her left arm and leg, have some head motion and communicate with signs with her left hand. Unfortunately, Paula has faced new physical challenges this past year, from kidney stones, to seizures, to a new syndrome called Paroxysmal Sympathetic Hyperactivity.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds to help Paula finance her physical, occupational, and speech therapies, medical and caring expenses, nurse visits, among other needs. Last year's funds were of great help, as they were fully allocated to Paula's needs, but these needs are not one-time deal, but recurring.

We will enjoy fun music from DJ SanFear, food and entertainment. Bring your family and friends and if you live outside Utah follow us on Facebook as we will broadcast the event live, for everyone to participate.

Sign up now and take advantage of our early bird discount!

$30, October 16 - 26 (enter EARLYBIRD in Coupon section)
$35, October 27 - November 3

Everyone is invited to participate as it will be a walk/run event, so come and join the fun by helping a runner in need!

We also ask local businesses and business owners to participate by signing up as a SPONSOR (email us for more information) and/or signing up as many runners as they wish.

Looking forward seeing you there supporting Paula!

Yours,

The Run4Paula Organizing Team
