No need to register in advance. People can show up between 7:30-9:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, bring canned food donations, and run the race. We will have a race clock there. The prizes are for the top ten canned food donors and not for runner's times.

Course Description: The course begins and ends at the Bountiful Recreation Center located at 400 North 200 West Bountiful, Utah. The 5k course extends north as participants run/walk through Bountiful’s downtown district.

The annual Save Your Skin 10K (6.2 miles) and 2 mile awareness walk will be held in the Davis County, Utah on Saturday September 25, 2010 starting at the West Bountiful Park off Pages Lane (1600 North) just west of I-15.

(Donations - no race entries are also accepted) 10K Race fee: $35 2 Mile Race fee: $20 Race registration deadline: Sept. 18, 2010 Late registration and race day registration will be available for $10 more and there is no guarantee of a shirt. Dry-wick shirts and goodie bags will be provided for pre-registered participants, so register early. Registration is required for both the walk and run. The walk will be non-competitive and the run will be chip timed with prizes available three deep in each age category. Both routes are out-and-back and refreshments will be provided to participants. All run and walk participants will be eligible for random prize drawings through the event (must be present to win). No award mail out. This is a family friendly event with a covered picnic tables under the pavilion and a playground for children. There are a few sand volleyball courts and plenty of grass to play on. Packet pick-up begins at 8:00 the day of the race. Lots of great raffles prizes. Medals awarded 1-3 places in age categories. Trophies awarded for 1-3 place male and female.
