Want to have the most fun EVER at a 5k? This is it! What other race offers fabulous layer cakes and yummy cupcakes for prizes? Or how about a race where you get to stuff your face with cupcakes? Oh yeah, this is it.
Come on out for some great family fun and support a fantastic family in their fight against cancer.
There's a race for everyone at the Cake Walk! This is the best family fun run around. Fabulous layer cakes for the fastest three in the men's and women's divisions. Gourmet cupcakes for both male and female winners of the stroller division. And don't forget the kids 1/2 mile race! Gourmet cupcakes for that too.
Now for the craziest division! If you're up for a real challenge, try the Cupcake Race. Run to the aid station at the turn around and eat as many cupcakes as you can. For every one you eat, you get a 2 minute reduction on your time! The winner might even end up with a negative time!
$15 for the 5k, $10 for the kids race. Or $40 for the whole family! Any way you slice it, you'll have a great time!

From the park, runners will make their way up Trappers Loop to Snowbasin and down Old Snowbasin Road. Once in Ogden Valley, the course will go west towards Pineview Dam for an 18 mile loop around the reservoir. Runners will then run back up Old Snowbasin Road and down Trappers Loop into Mt. Green to finish back at the park.

Bridge of Love, Race for Hope
Bridge of Love, a Utah-based non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing comfort and hope to Romania’s abandoned children. Bridge of Love has been instrumental in removing children from orphanages, one child at a time, and placing them with foster families in Romania. Currently, there are nearly 40 children in foster care who receive support from Bridge of Love.

SCHEDULE: Race begins at 9:00am on the Alpine Loop above the Sundance Resort at Aspen Grove (9521 N Alpine Loop Rd. Provo, UT 84604). Buses leave to the Start from The Shops@Riverwoods behind Movies 12 beginning at 6:30am to 7:15am (4801 N University Ave. Provo, UT 84604). You may be dropped off at the race Start at Aspen Grove before 8:00AM, but you WILL NOT be permitted to park there. Please do not wait for the last bus to leave or you may Start the race late.
WARMTH AT START: Halloween Runners will have access to the Emerald Dining Hall at Aspen Grove beginning at 5:00am on race morning where you will collect your TIMING CHIPS. We have rented this room for the warmth, restrooms, and to allow runners to mingle with fellow runners and friends and family prior to the race. Breakfast will not be served at the race start.
ADDITIONAL: MEMENTOS ZAZOOSH will be at the event taking your memento photos for purchase of this memorable and crazy race! Thanks ZAZOOSH! Visit ZAZOOSH.com after the race! RACE TIMING This will be a CHIP-TIMED event. Chip will be there with his timer! J/K! Runners will have TIMING CHIPS! Runners will receive their Timing Chips at the Emerald Dining Hall at Aspen Grove prior to the race start. Please allow Volunteers to remove your Timing Chip when you cross the Finish. TIME LIMIT You will have 4.25 hours to finish this run, so although we have some runners finishing in less than 1.25 hours, this run is also about FUN! You WILL finish!
RESTROOMS: MANY for your enjoyment at the start and throughout the course. Runners will also have access to restrooms inside the Emerald Dining Hall at Aspen Grove at the Start. Don't you HATE it when you have to go and have to wait!?!

Highway to Hale 10K and 5K Benefit Race/Walk
The Hale Center Foundation for the Arts and Education proudly announces the second annual Highway to Hale 10k/5k Race and 5K Walk. It will take place on October 30, 2010 with the 5k beginning at 9 AM and the 10k at 9:15 AM.
Registration fees are $20 for the 5k and $30 for the 10k, but if you register before August 31, 2010 you will receive the Early-Bird discount of $2 off the 5k and $5 off the 10k. Day-of registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt and will pay $25 for the 5k and $35 for the 10k.
All participants will receive a TECHNICAL (moisture-wicking) shirt with original artwork by Nathan Hale, (award-winning illustrator of the children's books Rapunzel's Revenge & Yellowbelly and Plum Go to School), goody bag, and two tickets to see the first show of our 2011 Season. We will also have a prize drawing and awards for the overall top three finishers, prizes for the winners of each age group, and a special finisher's award for everyone else. Special prizes will also be awarded to those who run in costume*!
