The Love Run
Bring your Valentine and come run in the first ever Love Run 5K and Puppy Love 1K. This family event provides a race for all abilities. After running the race with your Valentine, bring your kids to run the Puppy Love 1K. We have fun costume prizes for singles and couples so don't forget to come in your "sweetest" costume. Hot chocolate and doughnuts will be provided for all the participants.

Moab's Red Hot 55K and 33K
The Red Hot course is located northwest of Moab, Utah just west of Arches National Park. Red Hot runners will have majestic views of the La Sal Mountains to the southeast and breathtaking views of Canyonlands National Park to the west. The starting line is located at Gemini Bridges trail head. The 55k will start at 8:00am sharp & the 33k will start at 8:30am sharp.

Directions to start: From Center St. and Main St (Highway 191), head north out of town approximately 10 miles. Make a left into Gemini Bridges parking lot. From here drive over the railroad tracks and drive down the road about 1 mile to start.
Awards will be given to top 3 finishers.
Directions to finish: From Center St. and Main (Highway 191), head north out of town approximately 4.3 miles to Potash Road, turn left and drive 6 miles to the Poison Spider Trailhead, make a right off of Potash Road into the parking lot.

Dam 2 Dam Run - 5 Mile and 10 Mile Race
This year features 5 mile and a 10 mile options running around Sand Hollow Reservoir. Both races will have an out and back course.
Registration fees are $20.00 if received on or before Feb. 4, 2012. After that registration fees will be $35.00. There will be NO day of race registration.
Also there is a $10.00 entry fee to Sand Hollow State Park. We recommend that you car pool to save some cost.
This year there will be another unique souvenier for each runner. Packet pickup is from 10 am until 7 pm the day before the race at Classic Sports 984 West State in Hurricane, or morning of the race at the start area from 8:30 to 9:30 am.

90 Degrees South - Snowshoe Half Marathon
We will hold a snowshoe half-marathon on February 25th, 2012 The course will start at Diamond Fork Canyon and finish at Maple Canyon. If blizzard conditions exist, our alternate date will be March 3rd. This is a pilot event that will be limited to 50 participants. The fee to participate is $40 for a single racer with a $5 discount (per person) when you sign up with a friend. This includes support during the race and a post-race dinner at which we will gather feedback and deliver prizes to the winners. The intent is to conduct a full launch of at least 2 winter endurance events during 2013. These will most likely be a snow-shoe half-marathon and a cross-country-ski full marathon. We are also researching winter bi or triathlon possibilities.

Dogtown Half Marathon 9K/5K
Resolution + Determination = Achievement
The Dogtown ½ Marathon is a 13.2 mile course stretched across beautiful Washington City. Runners will start in Coral Canyon run down through Hell’s Canyon and along the Virgin river out Washington Dam road through Washington Fields, past Staheli Farms, and ending at Treasure Valley Park. It is a perfect training distance for full marathons. Whether beginner or veteran racer, this course offers a quality experience for all types of runners. We also have a looped 9K/5K runs that starts and ends at Treasure Valley Park.

Lake to Lake Team Relay & Ultra
A 50-mile team relay from Gunlock Reservoir to Sand Hollow Reservoir. The running route will take runners through scenic landscapes of Southern Utah along city trail systems and back roads.
Teams will consist of 5 people (Open Men, Open Women and Mixed) with each individual completing a minimum of two legs (roughly 5 miles each) of the relay. For the mixed division you need at least 2 women on your team. Included is the Ultra and 2-person team division!

$200/Team; $150/2-person team; $100/Ultra (solo runner).
Post relay events will consist of a full banquet at the Dixie Center at 7 pm on Saturday Night. This will include an amazing pasta dinner, an awards ceremony, slideshow, and a raffle you DON'T WANT TO MISS!

Run for Recess
This is a 5k race in Liberty Park. Proceeds benefit recess and Utah public schools.
Addition Race Information
The course will be well marked and fast. In fact, considering the flat course, this may be one of the fastest 5k's of the year!
Awards will be given for best overall male and female, best under 15 male and female, and best male and female stroller runners.
We will also be hosting a 1 mile fun run.
Cost is $15 for the 5k, $10 for the fun run. All proceeds will go to support education in the Salt Lake Valley.

The Dirty Hurty
COME OUT AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL TRAILS OF IVINS CITY.
RED MOUNTAIN RUNNING AND THE CITY OF IVINS WOULD LIKE TO OFFER YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO RUN THIS AMAZING TRAIL SYSTEM AND MEET OTHER TRAIL RUNNERS.
The Dirty Hurty will officially begin on the south side of the bridge across the street from the Jacob Hamblin home in Santa Clara, Utah. The race will commence at 730 am and will follow a jeep road to the top of the Cove Wash trailhead, approx. 1.5 miles.
*Runners will then enter the Barrel Roll trail, this will be a central aid station/portable toilet area and will also be a viewable area to watch runners as they are completing the Barrel roll trail loop. This distance is approx. 6 miles. this is the portion of the race which is the most rewarding and difficult, NO AID WILL BE PROVIDED WHILE ON THE BARREL ROLL...please pack your UltrAspire running/hydration pack to support yourself.
*After the completion of the Barrel roll, restock at the aid station, and enjoy 2-2.5 miles down to the Santa Clara creek and make your way to the crossing..
depending on the run-off/movement of the water, there may be a rope to hang onto as you traverse the creek...(you will be safe, you will be wet)
*To prepare for the last 3 miles, enjoy aid station #3 at the entrance to the Upper Graveyard trailhead. follow the markings to the Lower Graveyard, then onto Cholla trail, finally following markings and crossing over old highway 91 and into the beautiful city of Ivins, and to a finish at Unity Park.

Packet/Bib pick up will be on race morning and will occur at 6:30 am at Unity Park in Ivins(400 south 400 West)..Race will start promptly at 7:30 am. Busses will leave Unity Park at 7:10 am, and depending on weather, will stay at the starting line until 10 mins before the race starts to allow for heat and comfort. Please be on time, we WILL start on time.

Rex Lee Run 5K and 10K
Honor a friend or loved one who has battled with cancer. During the Rex E. Lee Memorial 5K/10K Run/Walk at Brigham Young University on March 17, you can show your admiration for a cancer victim or survivor by having a runner wear a Courage in the War Against Cancer certificate bearing the name of your cancer fighter. The courses are run in a loop on the streets of Provo around BYU.

Registration: Pre-race registration can be done via mail, or at booths located in the Wilkinson Student Center from March 7-9 from 11am-1pm and March 12-16 from 10am-3pm.
Pre-Race Bib and T-Shirt Pickup: Runners are encouraged to pick up their t-shirts and bibs prior to race day to avoid waiting in lines before the race. Pre-race bib and T-shirt pickup will be Thursday and Friday, March 15-16, 2012 at the Rex Lee Run booth in the Wilkinson Student Center from 10:00am-3:00pm and the University Parkway Center from 4:00-7:00 pm.(Race Location: The race begins outside the BYU Outdoor Track located just South of the Lavell Edwards Stadium.
Race Time: The starting cannon for the 5k race will be fired at 9:00 A.M. and at 9:10 A.M. for the 10k race on March 17, 2012 by a member of the Lee family (Note: This is a change from previous years! In the past the 10k has started first but in order to facilitate the flow of runners we are starting the 5k first this year.)Runners that have registered previously and need to pick up bibs and shirts should be at the Outdoor Track a minimum of 30 minutes before the race to warm up, get their bibs, and grab their Rex Lee Run T-shirt. The T-shirt sizes run large, so please order accordingly and get there early to pick up desired sizes. T-shirts come in XL, L, M, S, and YL. Again, if you are planning on registrering the day of the race, registration is only open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:40 A.M.
Cost: Cost is $15.00 for the 5K run and $20.00 for the 10K run on or before 3/16/12. It is an additional $5.00 to register on the day of the race (7:00A.M. - 8:40A.M).
