The Winter Racing Circuit 30K is part of the 2010 WINTER RACING CIRCUIT.

The Hurricane Half Marathon is sponsored by Hurricane City, Hillsports and other local businesses. If you’re familiar with Sand Hollow State Park, you'll appreciate the beauty and composure of this new route. If you have never seen this area, you are in for a real treat! Many local runners use this route as a conditioning run to train for the St. George Marathon. It's full of challenges and scenery. We hope you will join us this year.

Thanksgiving Point, Utah’s cultural gathering place, is hosting its first Half Marathon and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, April 24, to benefit the recently announced Museum of Natural Curiosity.

The Half Marathon kicks off at 7 a.m. at Water Tower Plaza and leads runners through Thanksgiving Point’s Gardens at the height of the annual Tulip Festival, the Thanksgiving Point golf course, the City of Lehi and the Jordan River Trail. The quarter-mile Kids Fun Run starts at 9:30 a.m. at Electric Park and trails through Thanksgiving Point’s Farm Country.

“What could be better than running through the breathtaking gardens and 250,000 tulips at full bloom?” said Craig Porter-Rollins, race organizer and CEO of LJCooper Capital Management LLC. “This is the first time Thanksgiving Point has held an event of this kind showcasing its beautiful property. The course will definitely set this race apart.”

One-hundred percent of race proceeds will benefit Thanksgiving Point’s Museum of Natural Curiosity project. The new museum will offer spaces for families to explore the world through play in a fun and educational environment. Three exhibit areas will cover topics ranging from science and art to the environment and world cultures.

Thanksgiving Point is offering $3,000 in prize money for open division runners. Awards will be given to the top runners in all divisions and each participant receives a race shirt and gift bag.

Half Marathon registration is $45 per runner, with discounts available for multiple registrations. Registration for the Kids Fun Run is $15. Corporate pricing is also available by contacting Thanksgiving Point at (801) 768-7433.

Madey Slaughter is a 14 year old, Fairfield Junior High basketball team captain who is battling bone cancer. This fundraiser has been organized to raise money to assist the family with medical bills. You may also contribute directly to the "Madeline Slaughter Treatment Fund" at any America First Credit Union branch.

Please join the St George Police Department for this great fund raising event for Utah Special Olympics. The course is flat and fast, with distances for runners of any age or ability level. 5K, 10K, and 1 mile fun run and 100% of the proceeds go to the Southern Utah Special Olympics.

Strengthening Families and Protecting Children.

5K Fun Run/Walk open to all ages. Proceeds will go towards the Foundation for Children with Diabetes (FYCD). After the 5K there will be a Health Fair which will consist of a free glucose, cholesterol, bone density and other screenings and monitors. SLRC will be hosting its 1st Annual Customer Appreciation 5k in conjunction with the Grand Opening of its new 700 E 2454 S Location on May 1, 2010 @ 8:00am.

This event is FREE to register. It also includes a Brooks running t-shirt and access to a free, 5k training program. However, registration is limited to 500 participants, so don’t delay - register early!

Run to Walk is a charity run helping disabled children pay for physical therapy so they can reach their physical goals and greater independence.

Race Start: from 800 N. in Orem, head north on 800 E. Pass Orem City cemetery and take the first right (Cascade Dr). Follow the road to the Bonneville Shoreline trailhead parking area (road ends at parking lot).

Relay consists of four legs. Relay a total of 11.5 miles.

This BACKSIDE 50 mile course is a relay-style race. You, plus a team of 5 of your favorite running buddies, will check out Moab from the “backside” as you run along the La Sal Mountain Loop Road. Feel the burn as you and your teammates tough through elevation changes that range from 4800 feet to 8800 feet. Climb that mountain, love the cool mountain air, then coast back down into Moab. End up at the Old City Park for lots of green grass and shady trees.

Brandan Sullivan has been suffering with End Stage Renal Failure (Kidney Failure), since March 2000. Because of the dialysis treatments that he has had to do, Brandan has also developed Congestive Heart Failure. Recently, Brandan has been approved to have a kidney transplant. A family member has come forward to be the kidney donor for him. Let's come together as a community to help him raise the needed money to have the transplant and help save his life.

10th Annual Ogden Marathon

The Marathon's beautiful course starts at an elevation of 5400ft . As you run the first half you will enjoy open roads, green fields and a beautiful gushing river. At the half way mark and start of the 1/2 Marathon you are at an elevation of 5000ft. The last half of the Marathon is equally beautiful.

You will start the final half by running around Pineview Reservoir then drop into Ogden Canyon where you will run along the roaring Ogden River. Breathtaking views of pine covered slopes changing into steep rock faces will be encountered along with quaint homes nestled along the river's edge. Exiting the canyon you run onto the Ogden River Parkway for approximately 2 miles which will take you past Dinosaur Park and the Utah State University Botanical Gardens. The course ends downtown on Historic 25th street at an elevation of 4,309 Feet.

We have already achieved so much but there is much left to do! The health of our economy has improved, but unfortunately, the health of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis patients is uncertain. The Crohn's and colitis community in Utah is committed to continue awareness and fundraising efforts because we need to find better therapies and ultimately a cure for our friends and neighbors who struggle daily with these terrible digestive diseases.

Spring is here and that means Take Steps is just around the corner!

The first ever Happy Valley Relay Lake Chase will be held on May 21–22, 2010. It's 130+ miles through Utah County. We have 1–8 person teams. It will be a relatively flat and fast race. Can't wait to see you in May!
