Welcome to this year's Provo City Half Marathon - Relay - 5K. Whether it's just for fun or to train for the upcoming marathons, this is the event that will truly get the spring off to the right start. Prices will be increasing soon so either sign up for yourself or find a partner for our relay event now. Prize money for the top finishers will be given out, plus random drawings after the event. This will be an event you do not want to miss.

5K and 1 mile start at Shadow Valley Elementary School (4911 S. 1500 E. in Ogden) and end at the Ogden Clinic on Harrison. It is a fast, mostly downhill course. The 5K starts at 8 a.m. and the mile starts at 8:30. The 5K is chip-timed, the mile is a non-timed fun-run. On-line registration will be available at runwalkjog.com starting in March. Registration forms will be available at Peak Performance, Striders, Shadow Valley Elementary, and The Ogden Clinic on Harrison in April.

5K Fun Run/Walk open to all ages. Proceeds will go towards the Foundation for Children with Diabetes (FYCD). After the 5K there will be a Health Fair which will consist of a free glucose, cholesterol, bone density and other screenings and monitors. There will also be a life-flight helicopter landing around 10am weather permiting. Sign-up at active.com key word NCPA.

SLRC will be hosting its 1st Annual Customer Appreciation 5k in conjunction with the Grand Opening of its new 700 E 2454 S Location on May 1, 2010 @ 8:00am.

This event is FREE to register. It also includes a Brooks running t-shirt and access to a free, 5k training program. However, registration is limited to 500 participants, so don’t delay - register early!

All participants receive a technical t-shirt, a goodie bag, two tickets for "To Kill A Mockingbird" at Hale Center Theater Orem and entry to a refreshment area with chips & salsa, margaritas, fruits and vegetables, and other great food. Awards will be presented following the race and prizes will be available for all participants.

Run to Walk is a charity run helping disabled children pay for physical therapy so they can reach their physical goals and greater independence.

The 14th annual Komen Salt Lake City Race for the Cure will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at The Gateway Mall at South Temple & 400 West in Salt Lake City, Utah.The 5K (3.1 miles) run and walk and the 1 mile fun run/walk will start at 8:30am. Both events will start on 300 W & North Temple heading north, and coming back to end near the Gateway Legacy Fountain.There will be no timed events this year. A timing clock will be set up at the start and the finish for participants interested in timing themselves.

Race Start: from 800 N. in Orem, head north on 800 E. Pass Orem City cemetery and take the first right (Cascade Dr). Follow the road to the Bonneville Shoreline trailhead parking area (road ends at parking lot).

Relay consists of four legs. Relay a total of 11.5 miles.

In this world of racing there are roads to run on. This race will challenge, awe, and inspire you with every step. When you think you have given it your all, the race will ask more of you with a final climb out of the beautiful canyon trail. The rewards are worth the climb, so bring a friend and challenge yourself like you have never been challenged before at the Hell Hole 5K/10K.

Course begins north of Kanab, meanders alongside Kanab Creek and vermillion cliffs, and finishes at the Kanab City Park. Enjoy a refreshment feast at the awards ceremony. Custom made trophies are awarded for the top finishers in each age division. Top male and female finishers receive a river trip valued at $1000.

This BACKSIDE 50 mile course is a relay-style race. You, plus a team of 5 of your favorite running buddies, will check out Moab from the “backside” as you run along the La Sal Mountain Loop Road. Feel the burn as you and your teammates tough through elevation changes that range from 4800 feet to 8800 feet. Climb that mountain, love the cool mountain air, then coast back down into Moab. End up at the Old City Park for lots of green grass and shady trees.

Brandan Sullivan has been suffering with End Stage Renal Failure (Kidney Failure), since March 2000. Because of the dialysis treatments that he has had to do, Brandan has also developed Congestive Heart Failure. Recently, Brandan has been approved to have a kidney transplant. A family member has come forward to be the kidney donor for him. Let's come together as a community to help him raise the needed money to have the transplant and help save his life.

The course is two laps on dirt trails winding through 152 acres with a one lap option for young runners (12 and under). An informal kids dash, prize drawings, and a gourmet pancake breakfast after the run.

10th Annual Ogden Marathon

The Marathon's beautiful course starts at an elevation of 5400ft . As you run the first half you will enjoy open roads, green fields and a beautiful gushing river. At the half way mark and start of the 1/2 Marathon you are at an elevation of 5000ft. The last half of the Marathon is equally beautiful.

You will start the final half by running around Pineview Reservoir then drop into Ogden Canyon where you will run along the roaring Ogden River. Breathtaking views of pine covered slopes changing into steep rock faces will be encountered along with quaint homes nestled along the river's edge. Exiting the canyon you run onto the Ogden River Parkway for approximately 2 miles which will take you past Dinosaur Park and the Utah State University Botanical Gardens. The course ends downtown on Historic 25th street at an elevation of 4,309 Feet.
