Adventure Xstream Adventure Race is a 50+ mile trail running, mountain biking, kayaking and canyoneering adventure race in Moab, Utah!

This is a race to raise money for cancer aid and research. We host this race on behalf of everyone who has fought cancer, but especially our veterans.

To remember who we run for, we decorate T-shirts with the names of those who we are running on behalf of. It's a great chance to show off your creativity and remember those who are and have battled cancer.

Kids Fun Run

The 5K is a 2 loop course through the beautiful grounds of "This is the Place Heritage Park." We have a 5k Walk and 1/2 Mile Kids Race. The 5K course has been measured professionally and is an accurate distance.

“Inmate” check-in and “Loot Recovery” will be at 7:30 a.m. and the race, “Inmate Escape” will begin at 8:00 a.m. Roy City Police Department “Police Pursuit” will begin shortly thereafter!

If you register by Friday, April 6th, the cost is only $15.00 and you will be guaranteed an “Inmate Issued” t-shirt. If registering after April 6th, the cost remains the same, however a t-shirt will not be guaranteed.

The 5K will begin and end at Roy Complex. Immediately following the race, there will be a raffle drawing for prizes as well as light refreshments.

Why Salt Lake City:

Course:
Starts at the Olympic Legacy Bridge on the campus of the University of Utah, the site of the 2002 Winter Olympic & Paralympic Athlete's Village. The gentle course then skirts through the municipalities of Holladay, Murray, South Salt Lake and Salt Lake City and County. The route runs around the base of the towering Wasatch Mountains, passes by cozy neighborhoods and elegant estates and winds through Salt Lake's legendary wide streets, into the city center, via Liberty Park.

Here, the music will absolutely rock, the energy will surge, and crowds of enthusiastic spectators will cheer participants on, all the way to the spectacular finish at the Olympic Legacy Plaza at The Gateway, in downtown Salt Lake.

Earth Day 10K Green Run is a chance to win a little bit of green for your pocket! What is the most recycled thing in the U.S.? The mighty dollar! Purchase a tree or flower while at the race and enter the cash drawing. Every runner receives the Earth Day race shirt and 1st - 3rd in each age group are awarded.

The Pay It Forward 5k/1 mile Challenge is not a race but a challenge to all ages to become more active and healthier. Many people do not participate in 5k or 1 mile walk/run because they don’t believe in themselves or do not have the money to participate in them. The goal of this event is to give the encouragement to the participants that they can complete this task and many more in the future.

Both of the races begin and end at Payson City Memorial Park. Participants will run on a clearly marked course on the roads. The course will be a loop.

This FUN 5K walk/run is sponsored by Snow College cosmetology students to help raise funds for younger students with special needs and the Utah Parent Center. It takes place in partnership with the campus' annual car show which includes great food and wonderful entertainment for the whole family.

The Southwest Utah Public Health Foundation is holding its Second Annual Breathe Easy 5K & 10k Run/Walk on Saturday, April 21, 2012.

This event will allow us to support efforts to improve the health and wellness in Washington County. The net proceeds will benefit the Foundation, leading to better overall health of the community.

Slight incline and declines throught the race. No real hills.

Race Series information:
All participants will receive a wickify race series technical shirt, pre race goodies, and a race series bag with goodies from our sponsors. Top 3 individuals in each division will receive a medal. Overall 1st place male and female runners will receive awards. Middle of the pack winner will win a new pair of shoes. Middle of the pack winner is an opportunity for all runners to win a great prize. Middle of the pack winner will be decided by splitting the number of male and female runners and taking the top person from the lower half of finishers.

There will also be a male and female winner for the entire 2012race series. Award will be given away after the last event. Points will be awarded as followed:

1st place- 150 points

2nd place- 125 points

3rd place 100 points

4th-10th place- 50 points

Participation in race finishing out of top ten- 10 points

Help us raise money for local families affected by cancer—specifically, Matt King who has pancreatic cancer, and Dakoda who has embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. These families have dealt with significant financial strains with the costs of medical care

CAPSA Run From Violence begins at the Logan Aquatic Center and takes you on the scenic and relaxing Logan River Trail. All proceeds from this race directly benefit local victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Come support these brave individuals!

Experience the stark, intimidating landscape that struck fear into the gold-rush wagon teams as they left the last water for 100 miles and entered a desert that at it's whim could mire them down in mud while it simultaneously dehydrated and killed them.

This year's event runs from the Bonneville Dike, about 15 miles East of Wendover, UT, and loops out to Crater Island, and winds it's way back to the Bonneville Salt Flats Cafe parking lot.

Free registration, official timing, and 9 aid stations (some self serve, some manned).

The walk starts approximate three mile route heading north from The Gateway.
Your participation means we will be working to support programs, services, and research sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and that makes a huge difference to the people who must fight MS every day of their lives.

The Cookie Chaser is a fun event for the whole family! The longer 5K race is a competitive run. The shorter 2K race is designed for children, scout troops, and families. The top finishers in each race will receive trophies and Girl Scout cookies and the top three finishers in each age group will receive special awards. Runners, walkers and joggers are all encouraged to participate. Proceeds benefit Girl Scouts of Utah. Monies raised go to support activities and programs throughout the state and help girls gain strong leadership and life skills, as Girl Scouts of Utah has done for nearly 90 years.
