Description of Race Events
Trail running is a great way to change up your running routine. If you are tired of being on the road, running the same route, or are looking for a new way to challenge yourself, trail running is a great way to do all of that. With trail running, you can run the same route every day and have a different experience each time. You will see new things and experience the ultimate runners high.
This 10k is the second event in a 3-race trail run series on the Round Valley trail system in Park City, UT. These trails are well taken care of and are very beginner friendly. The courses are extremely well-marked, taking out the risk of getting lost or being out there all by yourself if you are a first-timer. Aid stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles and are manned by friendly volunteers giving out water. Each course is progressively more challenging with the 15k course taking you all the way around the Round Valley, up and down hills, making it the most rewarding and favorite course of the three. Whether you are trying out trail running for the first time, or just want to enjoy the grit of a trail running race, these events are a must for this year!
Plus, instead of a t-shirt, we give every participant our signature beer-glass. Complete all three events to receive a bonus glass and complete your 4-glass set!
Pre-registration ends on June 15, 2010, after which the price increases from $25 to $35.
