Description of Race Events

Can you think of a better way to kick off your Pioneer Day celebration? Join us for the 3rd annual Pioneer Day Classic in Provo. This won’t be your typical 5k – 10k race…the 10k course includes the now famous “Goliath” hill. We guarantee Goliath will take you to the limit! This is the race that you’ve been waiting for to really test your grit. Once you crawl over Goliath, it’s smooth sailing to the finish line. Enjoy a quick pace along the downhill stretch in the foothills of Provo to the finish line. Once you cross the finish, get ready to party Run13 style with music, massages, Magleby’s Fresh breakfast, prizes for the best pioneer costume, giveaways, and bounce houses and face painting for the kiddies. As always, we will be using chip timing to ensure the most accurate race results.

We’ve kept registration prices at a minimum so there’s no excuse not to be part of the Valley’s Premier Pioneer Celebration!

Additional Race Information

PRIZES: Overall 10k Winners (male and female) – $100 Overall 5k Winners (male and female) – $50 Medals awarded to the top three finishers in each age division. Best Pioneer Costume receives an entrance into the St. George Marathon!
