Description of Race Events
The 1st annual “Run for the Nuns” 5K Run/Walk will be held Sun., Sept. 19, in memory of Sister Mary Joseph and in support of the Carmelite Nuns of Salt Lake City. The 5K will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Cottonwood Elementary, 5205 S. Holladay Boulevard, then end with a finish line at the Carmelite Monastery, 5714 S. Holladay Boulevard. Participants of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. are invited to run, walk or jog. Registration is $25 in advance, $40 day-of, and is tax deductible.
