Description of Race Events

Nobody fights harder for a world free of Multiple Sclerosis than you. Bring that energy to Walk MS 2010! We’re marching to create awareness, raise funds for research and celebrate hope in each and every one of us. Don’t miss this annual special day as thousands of Utahns, who are fighting just as hard as you, rally together for a world free of MS.

Join us for a fully supported 3-mile route through downtown SLC. We have rest stops, SAG vehicles, free breakfast and water/drink/snack station at the halfway point.

This is a unique opportunity for poeple of all ages and abilities to join us as we run, walk, stroll, and jog our way to a world free of Multiple Sclerosis. Registration is free and fundraising rewards begin at $125!

The Gateway is Salt Lake City's only open-air contemporary destination that delivers the ultimate in shopping, dining, and entertainment. Shop and dine at over 130 stores and restaurants. Visit the beautifully restored 1908 Union Pacific Depot featuring early French Renaissance architecture and original artwork. Also, enjoy the Olympic Legacy Plaza featuring the "dancing waters" of the Olympic Snowflake Fountain that is overlooked by a classic clock tower. It's here in the Olympic Legacy Plaza where Walk MS starts...and finishes! Pick up your free parking validation when you check in and park in any of the many available parking lots and garages attached to the Gateway Shopping Mall.
