Description of Race Events
The Liberty Park Challenge is a 5k run/walk to raise awareness of childhood obesity. Matt Livermanne, a Salt Lake resident, will be walking from NYC to Los Angeles in just 54 days to break a world record, raise money for elementary school P.E. programs, and bring awareness to the growing problem of childhood obesity, one step at a time. This event is an opportunity for members of the community to show their support for Matt and all those kids throughout the U.S. who are dealing with weight issues.
